Volunteer Mentor, Camp Bob Waldorf

For seven years, I volunteered as a “sports buddy” mentor for underserved youth at this camp. I had a blast playing sports and games on Sundays with 12 and 13-year-olds.

Sometimes referred to as the Jewish Olympics, the Maccabi Games was a wonderful experience. We beat South Africa in the final to win gold.
